Artist Frank Strasser lived and painted in Venice Beach, California for over 40 years. After four eventful decades, both he and Venice had changed. He needed the inspiration of a new landscape. As luck (or fate) would have it, he was offered an opportunity to relocate to Savannah, Georgia. So, on December 1, 2017, he moved 2,600 miles. Before he left he created one last painting of his beloved Venice and wrote an easy for The Free Venice Beachhead.
